Statement by Reclamation Commissioner John Keys on the Release of the National Academy of Sciences Report,

The following news_release was published by the Bureau of Reclamation on Dec. 5, 2005. It is reproduced in full below.

I am pleased to have the report from the National Academy of Sciences that provides recommendations on how Reclamation might position itself organizationally to meet the construction, maintenance, and infrastructure challenges of the future.

I welcome the Academy's report as we plan for the future accomplishment of Reclamation's mission of providing water and hydropower to the 17 Western States.
