Reclamation to Host Public Meeting for Managing for Excellence Project

The Bureau of Reclamation today announced that it will hold a meeting to inform the public about the Managing for Excellence project on July 10 and 11 in Las Vegas, Nev. This meeting is the first of three meetings in 2006 to inform the public about the action items, progress, and results of the project and to seek broad feedback.

The meeting will be held:

July 10: 1 PM to 5:30 PM

July 11: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Luxor Las Vegas

The Managing for Excellence Project will identify and address the specific 21st Century challenges Reclamation must meet to fulfill its mission to manage, develop, and protect water and related resources in an environmentally and economically sound manner in the interest of the American public.

Although you may register the day of the conference between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, we highly encourage you to pre-register for the conference online at www.usbr.gov/excellence
