SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released a Finding of No Significant Impact and an Environmental Assessment for the Los Carneros Water District’s Recycled Water Pipeline Project. The EA details Reclamation’s proposed grants of a total of $1.73 million to the Los Carneros Water District to improve water conservation efficiency and to increase water reliability.
The grants will partially fund the construction of a metered recycled water pipeline to distribute recycled water from the Napa Sanitation District’s wastewater facilities to approximately 4,050 acres of residential and agricultural land in southwest Napa County. Once constructed, the metered pipeline will distribute approximately 1,465 acre-feet of recycled water each year.
