FRESNO, Calif. -The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review the Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the issuance of a Central Valley Project Interim Renewal Contract for the city of Tracy.
Interim renewal contacts are undertaken under the authority of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act to provide a bridge between the expiration of the original long-term water service contracts and long-term renewal of those contracts. The city of Tracy’s interim renewal contract would be renewed for up to two years beginning March 1, 2016.
The Draft EA/FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available online at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=23475.
