FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review the Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the San Luis Solar Project.
Reclamation proposes to issue a 30-year Land Use Authorization to access, install, operate, maintain the solar cell energy generating project known as the San Luis Solar Project. The proposed project consists of three sites along the O’Neill Forebay on Federal lands and is adjacent to the San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area in Gustine, Merced County, California. The project supports both the Department of the Interior’s and California’s initiative to develop renewable energy on Federal lands.
