Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for the Sweeney/McCune Creek Outflow Recovery and Automation Project

FOLSOM, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Final Environmental Assessment/Initial Study and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Sweeney/McCune Creek

Outflow Recovery and Automation Project.

Through a WaterSMART Water and Energy Efficiency Grant, Reclamation will provide financial assistance to the Solano Irrigation District to recover surface

water outflow for redistribution within the District. The project will improve water use efficiency by installing a long crested weir, integrated flume

meters and automated discharge gates. The project is located in Solano County.

The Final EA/IS and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=24030. If you
