Reclamation Seeks Public Comment of the C Flume Repayment Contract

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.

- The Bureau of Reclamation announces the availability of the draft C Flume extraordinary maintenance loan repayment contract between the Klamath

Irrigation District and Reclamation for public review and comment.

The draft contract establishes the terms for KID's repayment of a Reclamation loan for the replacement of the 94-year-old flume. The draft contract was

developed based on public negotiation sessions between Reclamation and KID on February 24 and March 24, 2016. KID members previously voted on March 8, to

authorize entering into a contract with Reclamation for a loan of up to $10 million.
