Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for the Proposed Operational Exchange of Water between Millerton Lake and San Luis Reservoir to Support South-of-Delta Operations

FRESNO, Calif. -- The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed operational exchange of up to 60,000 acre-feet of available water supplies between Millerton Lake and San Luis Reservoir. The exchange helps to ensure that Reclamation can continue to meet existing contractual obligations and commitments from San Luis Reservoir storage and water exports from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.

The Final EA/FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=26440.
