Reclamation Releases Final Environmental Documents for the Proposed Millerton Lake State Recreation Area Accessibility Improvements Project

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed California State Parks Accessibility Improvements Project at Millerton Lake State Recreation Area.

The project would provide funding to improve existing recreational facilities at Millerton Lake by the California Department of Parks and Recreation in order to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities

Act. Modifications would be to existing infrastructure, which includes

eight campsites, one comfort station, a horse camp and the campfire center.

The Final EA/FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National

Environmental Policy Act, and are available at
