The following news_release was published by the Bureau of Reclamation on May 9, 2017. It is reproduced in full below.

GRAND COULEE, Wash. - The Bureau of Reclamation awarded a $266,000 contract on April 6 to T.L. Peterson, Inc. of Red Bluff, California, to pave a short segment of the Eden Harbor Road. The road is scheduled to be closed from May 15 until June 20.

The project will protect sensitive resources by reducing dust and debris due to traffic on the road, and restricting erosion from storm water runoff. The work will consist of paving 260 feet of the road nearest to Lake Roosevelt, in addition to installing a concrete curb and gutter.

T. L. Peterson, Inc. is a 100% woman-owned general engineering contracting firm that has extensive experience in all types of heavy construction as well as structural, electrical, historical restoration, and stream and river rehabilitation.

Reclamation asks the public to respect signage and contractor barriers during the construction period.
