Reclamation Releases Finding of No Significant Impact for the Central California Irrigation District Orestimba Creek Groundwater Recharge Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation signed a Finding of No Significant Impact for providing a CALFED Water Use Efficiency grant to the Central California Irrigation District for the Orestimba Creek Groundwater Recharge Project. CCID would use the CALFED Water Use Efficiency Grant to develop a 20 acre recharge facility near Orestimba Creek and the Delta-Mendota Canal that would allow the recharge of 500 acre-feet per year to the local groundwater basin.
