Reclamation Releases Environmental Documents for Proposed Water Conveyance of Kings River Flood Flows in the San Luis Canal for Westlands Water District

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review the Draft Environmental Assessment and Draft Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed conveyance of up to 50,000 acre-feet per year of Kings River flood flows in the San Luis Canal for use within Westlands Water District over a five-year period.

The Draft EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=29341.
