The Bureau of Reclamation would like to notify the public that access across Box Butte Dam will be closed to all traffic from Nov. 27, 2017 through Nov. 1, 2018.
The Box Butte Dam crest road, will be closed to allow Reclamation to safely conduct operations necessary to complete repairs to the dam infrastructure. This road closure will not affect access to the campgrounds in the Box Butte Reservoir SRA.
