Bureau of Reclamation releases Draft Environmental Assessment for Right-of-Use Downgradient Study Area Activities

Boulder City, Nev. - Reclamation’s Lower Colorado Regional Office announced today that is has issued a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Right-of-Use Downgradient Study Activities for study projects occurring on land Reclamation manages contiguous to the Las Vegas Wash. The Draft EA details Reclamation’s proposed issuance of the right-of-use permit for activities conducted by the Nevada Environmental Response Trust.

The Draft EA, which was prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, is available for public review and comment on Reclamation’s website at: www.usbr.gov/lc/region/g2000/envdocs.html. Comments must be postmarked by Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. Please send written comments to the Bureau of Reclamation, Attn: LC-2624, P.O. Box 61470, Boulder City, NV 89006.
