SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation finalized an Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for a WaterSMART Small-Scale Water Efficiency Project grant for the city of Sanger in Fresno County.
The WaterSMART grant will be used to upgrade the city’s water measurement hardware at nine wells throughout the city to improve water management and conserve water. The project will modernize flow meters and install programmable logic computers and associated digital communications equipment to improve the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of the city’s Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (or SCADA) system.
The Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=33161.
