Reclamation to host public meetings on proposed fee program at Lake Berryessa

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation announced today three public meetings to gather feedback on Lake Berryessa’s proposed new fee program. The proposed fees would fund improvements to recreation facilities and programs, provide increased visitor services and protect natural resources at Lake Berryessa.

Reclamation is seeking input on how to use collected funds. Public meetings have been scheduled for the following dates and locations. Additional meetings may be scheduled.

* September 4, 5:30-7:30 pm PDT - Spanish Flat Senior Center

* September 6, 5:30-7:30 pm PDT - Winters Public Meeting Room/Winters Fire Department

In addition to the public meetings, comments from the public can be submitted until Jan. 21, 2019. Written comments on the proposed new fee site can be submitted to Drew Lessard, Area Manager, Central California Area Office, Bureau of Reclamation, 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, CA 95630 or emailed to mbailey@usbr.gov.
