Boulder City, Nev. - The Bureau of Reclamation today released a Finding of No Significant Impact and Final Environmental Assessment for a WaterSMART Water and Energy Efficiency Grant to the Southern Nevada Water Authority.

Through the grant, Reclamation will provide a portion of the 2019-2020 funding for SNWA’s existing landscape rebate program; which provides a financial incentive for property owners to replace lawn with water-efficient landscaping.

The FONSI and EA were prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available on the Reclamation internet site at: http://www.usbr.gov/lc/region/g2000/envdocs.html. For questions on the project or to request a compact disk or paper copy of the FONSI and EA, please contact Ms. Faye Streier at 702-293-8132 or fstreier@usbr.gov.
