The proposed Vinelands Power Plant would be constructed near Palisade, Colorado, adjacent to the existing Grand Valley Power Plant. The federally owned Grand Valley Power Plant will be decommissioned.
What: Public meeting to negotiate the Vinelands Power Plant lease of power privilege contract.
When: Tuesday, June 15, at 1:30 p.m.
Where: Due to COVID-19 precautions and concern for public safety, this meeting will be virtually conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Why: The contract to be negotiated will provide terms and conditions to use Reclamation facilities for non-federal hydropower generation. All negotiations are open to the public.
