FBI Releases Photos of Atlanta Armored Car Robbers and Offers Combined Reward of Up to $20,000
Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, FBI Atlanta, in conjunction with Dunbar Armored, announces a combined reward of up to $20,000 regarding the investigation into this past Saturday’s armed robbery of a Dunbar Armored courier in Atlanta, Georgia.
On Saturday, May 14, 2016, at approximately 8:40 a.m., an armed robbery of a Dunbar Armored courier occurred at 1352 Lakewood Ave SE in Atlanta, Georgia just after that courier had completed servicing a nearby check cashing business.
The robbers were two black males, armed with semi-automatic handguns, described as being 25-35 years of age, 5’7" to 5’10" in height, with average builds. One robber was wearing a blue/black and a white, striped hooded sweatshirt. The other robber was wearing a baseball cap and blue jeans and had a beard. Both robbers were observed wearing orange construction vests.
