FBI Media Alert: Three Sought in Robbery of Northeast Albuquerque Bank
The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for three people involved in robbing a northeast Albuquerque bank on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Witnesses said a slender-built male entered the Bank of the West located at 4221 San Mateo Blvd. NE shortly after 11 a.m., threatened a teller, and demanded money.
Another individual stood at the door while a third waited nearby inside a four-door silver or gray sedan.
The suspect who entered the bank is described as approximately 5’6" tall and wore a blue bandana over the lower half of his face, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and a baseball cap.
After the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, the three individuals got into the vehicle, which was last seen heading south on San Mateo Boulevard.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction of a bank robber.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
