Fugitive Eric Michael Schuster Now in FBI Custody

CINCINNATI-Angela L. Byers, Special Agent in Charge of the Cincinnati Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), announced today that fugitive Eric Michael Schuster, 31, of Cincinnati, is now in FBI custody after surrendering to special agents at the FBI Cincinnati Field Office this morning.

Following an investigation by the FBI Cincinnati’s Child Exploitation Task Force, Schuster was initially charged with distribution, receipt, and possession of child pornography by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio on November 6, 2015. Further investigation led to the May 18, 2016, indictment of Schuster for production and attempted production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography, and possession of child pornography. On May 19, 2016, a federal warrant was issued for his arrest.

An indictment merely contains allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
