Robbery of Bank of the West Branch in Albuquerque

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a man who robbed Bank of the West branch at 5901 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque on Aug. 16, 2016.

The robbery occurred at approximately 1:33 p.m.

The suspect is a white male who wore a white shirt and blue jeans and had facial hair. Witnesses said the suspect appeared to be wearing a red or brown wig.

Witness described the suspect's vehicle as a gray or silver Nissan Altima, possibly a 2013-2015 model, with front-end damage and a New Mexico dark blue service/veteran plate.

Anyone who knows anything about this robbery is asked to call the FBI (24 hours) at (505) 889-1300.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
