Escapee Timothy Eugene England Captured

On Sept. 2, 2016, Timothy Eugene England was arrested in Royal Oak, Michigan after he escaped from a Tennessee detention facility while being detained pending court proceedings on Aug. 30, 2016. The U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee (EDT) issued an additional warrant for England’s escape.

On June 14, 2016, the EDT issued an arrest warrant for Timothy Eugene England for bank robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence related to the robbery of the Consumer Credit Union in Greenville, Tennessee on Dec. 20, 2015. On July 7, 2016, England was arrested and appeared in the U.S. District Court in Greenville.
