FBI Searches for Unknown Serial Bank Robber

Crime Stoppers Offers a Reward of up to $5,000 Cash

The Dallas FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a serial bank robber who is believed to be responsible for four bank robberies or attempted bank robberies in the month of October. North Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this individual.

* October 4: Chase Bank branch at 12900 Coit Road, Dallas, Texas

* October 7: BBVA Compass Bank branch at 2307 W. Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas

* October 13: Bank of America branch at 5610 Broadway Boulevard, Garland, Texas

* October 27: Wells Fargo Bank branch at 13050 Coit Road, Dallas, Texas

The robber is described as a black male, 30 to 35 years old, 6’0" to 6’2" tall, approximately 175 to 185 pounds, with a medium build, a medium complexion, and goatee or light beard. He had a Band-Aid on his left cheek during the October 7 robbery and a visible scar on his left cheek during the October 13 robbery. He has worn a cap or do-rag in each robbery, and he carried a backpack in three of the four robberies.

In each robbery, the subject presented a hand-written note demanding money. To date, no one has been injured, and the suspect has made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. He has left each scene on a bicycle or on foot.
