New Orleans Man Arrested for Impersonating a Police Officer and on Child Pornography Charges

New Orleans Man Arrested for Impersonating a Police Officer and on Child Pornography Charges

On Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Tristion Grant was arrested by the FBI New Orleans Division’s Violent Crimes Against Children/Human Trafficking Task Force on state charges for false impersonation of a police office and computer aided solicitation of a minor.

After a lengthy investigation that spanned from Los Angeles to Florida, the FBI New Orleans Division’s Violent Crimes Against Children/Human Trafficking Task Force arrested Tristion A. Grant, black male, age 18 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tristion is accused of contacting female minors online and coercing them to send nude pictures of themselves to him. In addition, he also used intimidation tactics and threatend to arrest the female victims if they did not comply with his mandates.

Tristion Grant was transported to the Orleans Parish Prison. This matter was investigated by the FBI Jacksonville, Los Angeles, and New Orleans Field Offices. It will be prosecuted by the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office.
