FBI Announces Arrest Made in Connection with a Bank Robbery in Fort Lauderdale

The FBI announces the arrest on Nov. 30, 2016, of Sonya Elizabeth Clark, 52, of Boynton Beach, Florida, for her alleged involvement in the robbery of a TD Bank branch at 1701 East Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 2, 2016.

The arrest was made without incident yesterday morning at the subject’s residence in Boynton Beach.

Clark is in federal custody and is facing federal charges.

The criminal complaint may be found in PACER in due time. No picture(s)/mug shots are available.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office, Boynton Beach Police Department, Fort Lauderdale Police Department, the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force, and the FBI continue their investigation.

No further information will be released at this time.
