Robbery of Loomis Guard at Plymouth Meeting Mall Last Week

Robbery of Loomis Guard at Plymouth Meeting Mall Last Week

The Plymouth Township Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subjects responsible for the robbery last week of a Loomis guard delivering currency at the Plymouth Meeting Mall in Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

At approximately 7:50 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2016, the subjects encountered the guard in a service corridor on the lower level of the mall. They physically assaulted him, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, and fled the mall area in a dark-colored 1992-2000 Chevy Tahoe; the vehicle was last seen heading southeast on Plymouth Road toward Butler Pike. The injured guard was later treated and released.

The subjects are described as black males. One was of average build, and wore dark-colored clothing. The other was of heavy build, and wore a light gray hooded sweatshirt and cropped sweatpants.

These subjects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or these subjects is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Plymouth Township Police Department at 610-279-1901. There is a reward for information leading to these subjects’ capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
