FBI Seeking Information About Aurora Bank Robbery
The Aurora Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force need your help identifying a bank robber. The bank robbed is:
Chase Bank
5800 South Parker Road
Aurora, Colorado
Feb. 13, 2017, 5:45 p.m.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’8" in height, with a medium build. He is approximately 35 to 40 years of age. The suspect was wearing a dark jacket, dark t-shirt, dark pants, and a dark knit cap. Based on his appearance it is believed the suspect may be involved in the automobile service industry.
After committing the robbery the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
