FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force Seeking Public Assistance to Identify Bank Robber
The Arvada Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force need your help identifying a bank robber. The bank robbed is:
Wells Fargo Bank
7375 West 52nd Avenue
Arvada, Colorado
April 29, 2017, 11:30 a.m.
The suspect robbed the bank at gunpoint. He is described as a black male, approximately 6’0" in height, 190 pounds, with black hair and a salt and pepper beard. He is approximately 45 to 50 years of age. The suspect was wearing a red zipper hoodie and black face mask, gray pants, and white tennis shoes with orange laces. The suspect changed clothing following the robbery.
After committing the robbery, the suspect fled the scene and entered an RTD bus.
Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
