Man Wearing Lobos Baseball Cap Robs Albuquerque Bank

A man wearing a red University of New Mexico Lobos baseball cap robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank Monday afternoon, May 22, 2017.

The suspect is described as a white male 25-30 years old, approximately 5'10" tall, with a slim build and dark hair.

He wore a red UNM baseball cap with a Lobos logo, a black tracksuit jacket with a white stripe, and dark plastic-frame sunglasses with light tint.

At approximately 3:47 p.m., the suspect walked into BBVA Compass Bank, located at 7530 Montgomery Blvd NE.

He displayed a pistol and demanded money from a teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.

Tips can also be submitted online at tips.fbi.gov.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
