FBI Investigates Agent-Involved Shooting in Albuquerque, Searches for Vehicle

Update: Suspect vehicle located. No further information at this time.

The FBI is investigating an agent-involved shooting that occurred in the Home Depot parking lot near Coors Blvd. and I-40 on June 19, 2017.

The shooting occurred during a law enforcement operation at approximately 5 p.m.

A suspect vehicle got away after striking a task force officer who was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

No other law enforcement officers were injured.

It is unknown if any suspects were injured.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 2008-2014 white Dodge Charger with lime green racing stripes from front to back. It also had lime green on the wheel rims.

The car had a New Mexico Support Our Troops license plate frame on the back.
