FBI Investigating New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union Robbery

FBI Investigating New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union Robbery

NEW ORLEANS-On Friday, July 28, 2017, at approximately 5:30 p.m., an unidentified individual entered the New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union located at 3840 Canal Street, displayed a note, demanded cash, and implied he had a gun. The robber fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber jumped a fence in the rear of the bank, fleeing parallel to Canal Street in a southbound direction away from the bank.

The robber is described as approximately 6'0" tall with a thin build. The robber was wearing a dark t-shirt possibly black or dark green, tan khaki pants, a dark Adidas logo baseball cap with a checkered brim, and black and white athletic shoes, also possibly Adidas brand. The robber also wore a wig described as having straight, shoulder length, black hair.
