Tacoma Woman Arrested for Conspiracy to Produce Child Pornography

Tacoma Woman Arrested for Conspiracy to Produce Child Pornography

Shortly after 5:00 p.m., the FBI’s South Sound Child Exploitation Task Force (SSCETF) arrested Gail Lynn Burnworth, aka Gail McLean, in Tacoma, Washington. The FBI arrested Burnworth, 50, on a federal warrant out of the Western District of Washington for conspiracy to produce child pornography. Initial appearance will be 2:30 pm Monday, August 7 in the Tacoma federal district court.

The SSCETF is investigating this case jointly with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force in Seattle, which is led by the Seattle Police Department. The SSCETF also partnered with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, FBI San Francisco Field Office, and the ICAC in San Jose. The U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO) in the Western District of Washington is prosecuting the case. For further questions about the investigation, please contact the USAO.
