FBI Seeking Information for Bank Robbery in Lakewood

FBI Seeking Information for Bank Robbery in Lakewood

The Lakewood Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the following bank robbery:

US Bank

363 S Teller St.

Lakewood, Colorado

1/16/18, 10:00 a.m.

The suspect presented a demand note and fled southbound on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, in his early twenties, 6’00" tall, medium build, wearing a greenish hooded coat, dark scarf, dark grey slacks, and black shoes.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
