FBI Media Alert: Man in Red or Orange Sweatshirt Robs Northeast Albuquerque Credit Union

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a man who robbed a northeast Albuquerque credit union on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5'8" tall, with a thin build and short black hair.

He wore a red or orange hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black ski mask.

At approximately 4:54 p.m., the suspect entered Santa Fe Federal Credit Union, 7101 Jefferson Street NE.

He demanded money from a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect.

The suspect left the bank and headed west on foot on Ellison Street NE.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
