FBI Media Alert: Man Wearing Cowboy Hat, Red Bandana Robs Albuquerque Bank

A man wearing a black cowboy hat and a red bandana robbed a northwest Albuquerque credit union Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'4" to 5'6" tall, with a slim to medium build and a brown beard.

He wore sunglasses, a black cowboy hat, a striped red bandana around his neck, a white short-sleeve T-shirt, and blue jeans tucked into dark cowboy boots.

The suspect walked into Mountain America Credit Union, 9200 Golf Course Road NW, at approximately 5:36 p.m.

He gave a teller a note demanding money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank and fled across the parking lot in a northeast direction.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
