FBI Seeking Information from a Bank Robbery in Lighthouse Point

FBI Seeking Information from a Bank Robbery in Lighthouse Point

The FBI is seeking information from a bank robbery that took place Feb. 22, 2018 at approximately 4:25 p.m. at a Bank United branch located at 2500 North Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, Florida.

The robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. No customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. The amount of money taken will not be released at this time.

Investigators believe this same robber may have been involved in the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 6245 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Feburary 1, 2018.
