The FBI is Seeking the Public’s Assistance Regarding Bank Robberies in Littleton and Aurora

The FBI is Seeking the Public’s Assistance Regarding Bank Robberies in Littleton and Aurora

The Littleton and Aurora Police Departments, along with the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, need your help identifying a bank robber. The banks where the robberies occurred are:

* Wells Fargo Bank

5601 S Broadway

Littleton, Colorado

* US Bank

2990 S Peoria St

Aurora, CO

The suspect in both robberies is described as a Hispanic male, 18 years-old to early 20s, slender build, and no facial hair.

During the Littleton robbery, the suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, light blue golf shirt, jeans, and black sunglasses.

During the Aurora robbery, the suspect was wearing an army green button down long sleeve shirt, jeans, and black sunglasses.

The suspect in both robberies presented a demand note to tellers.

Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
