FBI Media Alert: Man Charged with Two Albuquerque Bank Robberies
The FBI has arrested Reynaldo Tafoya, 29, of Grants, New Mexico, on a federal complaint charging him with two bank robberies.
The Albuquerque Police Department arrested Tafoya in Albuquerque on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, and FBI special agents took custody of him shortly afterward.
Tafoya is accused of robbing Bank of the West, 780 Juan Tabo Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, on Oct. 11, 2018, and Bank of Albuquerque, 645 Main Street SE, Los Lunas, on Oct. 10, 2018.
Tafoya had an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Monday.
The public is reminded that all suspects are presumed innocent unless convicted in a court of law.
