Bank Offers Reward for Armed Bank Robbery

Bank Offers Reward for Armed Bank Robbery

ATLANTA-The FBI and Sandy Springs Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a PNC Bank on February 6, 2019. PNC is offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the bank robber.

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on February 6th, a man entered the bank located at 5430 New Northside Drive, Suite 100, Sandy Springs, Georgia, and pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The gunman forced two bank employees at gunpoint to a vault in the bank and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the bank.

The suspect is described as a black male, age 40’s to 50’s, approximately 5’7", medium build, and wearing a dark jacket, a ball cap, and a scarf over his face.
