The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Boulder Police Department, and Denver Police Department Need Your Help Identifying a Bank Robber
The FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Boulder Police Department, and Denver Police Department need your help identifying a bank robber. The banks where the robberies occurred are:
Vectra Bank
2696 Broadway
Boulder, Colorado
May 14, 2019, 3:17 p.m.
US Bank
1248 South Broadway
Denver, Colorado
July 11 2019, 1:54 p.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 to 45 years old, 5’6" in height, and weighed 200 to 230 pounds. He may possible have a facial deformity or scarring.
During the May 14, 2019 bank robbery, the suspect wore a black baseball hat, dark rim glasses, black long sleeve shirt, dark cargo shorts, white socks, and dark shoes. During the July 11, 2019 bank robbery, the suspect was wearing New York Yankees baseball hat, dark rim glasses, dark “Steelers" shirt, and white athletic shorts.
During each of the robberies, the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, demanded money, and then fled. No weapon was threatened or seen in either bank robbery.
Please be on the lookout for anyone matching the suspect’s description. Be aware of anyone similar who might have recently changed their spending habits or discussed coming into money suddenly.
Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
