The FBI is Seeking Information to Identify the Suspect Responsible for the Robbery of the Southwest Credit Union in Lawton

The FBI is seeking information to identify the suspect responsible for the robbery of the Southwest Credit Union in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Southwest Credit Union

6714 West Gore Boulevard

Lawton, Oklahoma

On Monday, March 23, 2020, at approximately 10:40 a.m., an unknown suspect approached the drive-thru teller lane of the Southwest Credit Union. The suspect placed a demand note and a possible explosive device in the drive-thru teller drawer. Upon receipt, the teller returned the device and an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect fled the location in the below described vehicle. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as follows:

* Sex: Male

* Race: White

* Complexion: Darker toned

* Hair color: Dark Brown

* Facial Hair: Brown short-trimmed beard

* Clothing: Last seen wearing sunglasses, black gloves, a black beanie, and a red/white/blue plaid shirt.

* Weapon: Possible explosive device.

Vehicle: Described as a 4-door Ford Expedition or similar SUV, silver/white in color with light colored interior and a temporary Oklahoma paper tag.
