FBI Media Alert: FBI Assists Albuquerque Police Department in Old Town Shooting Investigation
The FBI is assisting the Albuquerque Police Department with its investigation of the events that occurred during a protest in the Old Town district of Albuquerque on Monday night, June 15, 2020.
The Albuquerque FBI Division’s efforts are focused on identifying, investigating, and disrupting individuals who are inciting violence and engaging in criminal activity in New Mexico. We are not focused on peaceful protests.
We will continue to utilize all of our resources and partnerships, both law enforcement and community, to ensure protection of First Amendment rights and the protection of our communities.
