FBI Seeks Identity of Armed Credit Union Robbery Suspect

DECATUR, GA-The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed suspect who robbed the Peach State Federal Credit Union at 2899 North Decatur Road, Decatur, Georgia, on Sept. 24, 2020.

At about 12:18 p.m., the suspect entered the credit union and pulled out a handgun and ordered the teller to “Give me the money, this is a robbery." At one point the suspect jumped up on the counter, pointed the gun at employees, and grabbed money from the counter.

The suspect left the bank and drove off in a silver Nissan Versa with dark tinted windows and no tag.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30’s, wearing a black hoodie, surgical mask, gloves, camouflage jacket and dark jeans. He was carrying a silver back pack with white stripes.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect or the vehicle he was driving is asked to call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
