The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Little Snake Field Office is urging the public to avoid road damage caused by washout in the Marshall Draw area, east of Sheephead Basin on BLM Road 2040.
The Marshall Draw area is located west of Moffatt County Road 46. The damage is approximately 2.8 miles south of the intersection at BLM Road 2040 and BLM Road 2042 and has been marked with signage. Visitors should follow an alternative route on BLM Road 2040F if they are traveling to the other side of BLM Road 2040. There may be similar hazards within the area due to recent rain, so use caution when traveling in the area.
The BLM asks the public to avoid the damaged area until it can be repaired.
