Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo met by phone with Robert Habeck, Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Action for Germany, to reaffirm the two nations’ longstanding trade partnership in clean energy, energy security, climate change, technology, the digital economy, and numerous other sectors. The two principals also discussed our shared response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and continued commitment to provide humanitarian and commercial assistance to the Ukrainian people.
