ANCHORAGE -- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Alaska Resource Advisory Council (RAC) placer mining subcommittee will meet via videoconference on March 7, 2014.
The subcommittee will meet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. from the Fairbanks District Office at 1150 University Avenue and Anchorage District Office on Campbell Tract at 4700 BLM Road. The public is invited to attend.
The RAC advises and makes recommendations to the BLM on public land management issues. Discussion items at the subcommittee will include ways to develop an effective communication and outreach strategy for the BLM placer mining policy.
