MONTE VISTA, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management San Luis Valley Field Office is hosting a series of field trips and open houses to get your input on solar energy on public lands.
Through community outreach, the BLM hopes to inform the public about the planning process to develop solar energy on public lands while obtaining public input on what and how mitigation should be addressed.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Monday, Sept. 8: De Tilla Gulch SEZ Saguache County Road and Bridge Bldg, 305 3rd St., Saguache, CO 81149
3 PM: assemble for field visit; 4 - 6:30 PM: local workshop
Tuesday, Sept. 9, Antonito Southeast SEZ Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 305 W. 8th Ave., Antonito, CO 81120
9 AM: assemble for field visit; 4 - 6:30 PM: local workshop
Wednesday, Sept. 10: All-Day Landscape Assessment/Solar Regional Mitigation Workshop for Three Colorado Solar Energy Zones.
