BLM seeks public comment on Homer Deep Unit proposal near De Beque

SILT, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments on an oil and gas exploration and development program northwest of De Beque, Colo.

Black Hills Plateau Production’s Homer Deep Unit Master Development Plan proposes development of up to 36 wells on four new well pads and one existing well pad as well as associated access roads and gathering lines. Each well pad would encompass about 7 acres.

The BLM is asking the public to identify comments, concerns and issues before it begins drafting the environmental assessment of this proposal.

Comments will be most helpful if received by April 29, 2015. Written comments and questions should be directed to the Colorado River Valley Field Office at 2300 River Frontage Road, Silt, CO 81652 or submitted electronically to blm_co_si_mail@blm.gov.

Copies of the proposed action that further detail the proposed oil and gas development are available for review at the BLM Colorado River Valley Field Office and online at https://www.blm.gov/epl-front-office/eplanning/lup/lup_register.do.
