The joint meeting of the Nevada Bureau of Land Management's three Resource Advisory Councils (RACs) will be held March 23-24 in the Bonanza Room of the Nugget Resort Casino, 1100 Nugget Ave., Sparks, NV from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. A public comment period is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on March 24.The agenda and additional information is posted. Comments submitted by mail should be received by March 22.The Sierra Front-Northwestern Great Basin RAC, the Northeastern Great Basin RAC, and the Mojave-Southern Great Basin RAC each have 15-members that represent a variety of public land interests. The Nevada RACs advise the Secretary of the Interior, through the BLM Nevada State Director, on a variety of planning and management issues associated with public land management in Nevada.
